This is a comprehensive course in the language and culture of international meetings, developing the essential language for nuance of tone and diplomacy which is often difficult to achieve in a foreign language.
It gives the student tools to develop an argument, ask for and express opinions, agree and disagree, interrupt, clarify, pose questions, express support and opposition, persuade, express emphasis and certainty, compromise, and attend formal meetings.
Motivating interactive role-plays, case studies and business games are utilised in class.
